This privacy policy explains how Matixs.com BV handles your data when you use PDFmanagers (pdfmanagers.be).
PDFmanagers is a free service of Marketingmanagers, operated by Matixs.com BV, a company established in Belgium. Matixs.com BV is the controller for the limited processing described below. For any privacy question, contact us at info@matixs.com.
All tools process your files in your own web browser. Your documents are never sent to our servers or stored by us, and we cannot see their content. When you close or reload the page, the files disappear from your browser’s memory.
You can use PDFmanagers without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or other personal details.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts from third parties, and we do not set tracking cookies. Your browser’s local storage is only used to remember settings on your own device, such as your language and tool preferences. That data never leaves your device.
Like any website, the server that delivers the pages of PDFmanagers keeps ordinary technical logs: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and status code. We use these logs only to keep the service secure and working, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and we keep them no longer than necessary for that purpose. These logs never contain your files.
Some tools need extra files that your browser downloads directly from a public content delivery network the first time you use them: the text recognition (OCR) engine and its language files, and certain fonts for the PDF editor and for non-Latin scripts (via cdn.jsdelivr.net and rawcdn.githack.com). Only the request for that file is sent, never your documents. As with any web request, the network provider can see your IP address.
PDFmanagers contains links to marketingmanagers.be. If you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that website applies.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict its processing and to object to it. Because we hardly process any personal data, there is usually little to share, but you can always contact us at info@matixs.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
We may update this privacy policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
